Terms of Use
Effective October 30, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Feel Tomorrow LLC ("we", "us") for the DarkRoll app and darkroll.app (together, "DarkRoll"). By using DarkRoll you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use DarkRoll.
1. Who can use DarkRoll
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.
2. Your photos and rolls
- You keep ownership of the photos you take with DarkRoll.
- When you publish a roll to Explore, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute it within DarkRoll and on darkroll.app, and to show it, with credit to your username, when we present or promote DarkRoll. This license ends when you unpublish the roll or ask us to delete it, except for copies already shared by others or kept in backups for a limited time.
- When you shoot on a shared roll, everyone on that roll can see and export the photos on it.
- You're responsible for what you share. Only share photos you have the right to share, and get consent from people who can be identified in them.
3. Community rules
DarkRoll has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't publish, share or send anything that:
- is sexually explicit, or sexualizes minors in any way;
- is violent, hateful, harassing or threatening, or targets anyone for who they are;
- shows someone in a private situation without their consent, or shares personal information about others;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- is spam, a scam, or illegal.
You can report a roll or a user through our support form, choosing "Report a roll or user". We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or remove the accounts responsible.
4. Usernames and accounts
DarkRoll creates an anonymous account for you when you first open it. Usernames and nicknames must not impersonate anyone or break the community rules. We may reclaim or change usernames that do.
5. DarkRoll Pro
- DarkRoll Pro unlocks extra films and features. It's sold through Apple's App Store on iPhone and Google Play on Android, as an auto-renewing subscription billed monthly or yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel before the current period ends (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before).
- If a plan includes a free trial, you'll be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. An unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you subscribe.
- Manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings, or in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- We may change Pro features or prices. Price changes apply from your next billing period, and Apple or Google will notify you as required.
6. Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer DarkRoll, interfere with its operation, access it with automated tools, or use it to break the law.
7. Our app and content
DarkRoll, including its design, film looks, artwork and name, belongs to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, as allowed by Apple's Usage Rules or the Google Play Terms of Service, depending on where you got it.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using DarkRoll at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we have to by law.
9. Disclaimers
DarkRoll is provided "as is". We work to keep your photos safe, but we don't guarantee that DarkRoll will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that photos will never be lost. Keep copies of photos that matter to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for DarkRoll in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. App stores
If you got DarkRoll from Apple's App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for DarkRoll or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and isn't responsible for any claims relating to it, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. If DarkRoll fails to meet an applicable warranty, you can notify Apple, which will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
If you got DarkRoll from Google Play: these terms are between you and us, not Google, and Google isn't responsible for DarkRoll or its content.
Wherever you got DarkRoll, you confirm that you aren't in a country subject to a US Government embargo or on a US Government list of restricted parties.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use DarkRoll after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Feel Tomorrow LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and nothing in them limits rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
